Rights of cancelation
The UK distance selling act 2000 provides you with the right to cancel your order for your items at any time up to the seventh working day following the day after the day you received the goods. You do not need to give us a reason for your cancelation.
Please ensure you thoroughly check your items for any damage at the point of delivery. In the unusual event that your item arrives damaged please contact us within 72 hours at firstname.lastname@example.org or 01278751904.
Accepting your delivery
All goods sent by courier must be signed for by an adult aged 18 or over on delivery.
We hope you will be delighted with your order, but we understand that sometimes you may want to return an item. The Country House Gift Company offers a 30 day no quibble guarantee. Goods must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition (including original packaging) and remain in a re-sellable condition.
Please ensure that you have filled out and included the returns slip within your parcel. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the return postage. Please obtain a Certificate of Posting in case for whatever reason the parcel fails to reach us.
Please note for large unwanted items will need to be collected by one of our couriers, the cost of this will be deducted from your refund – simply call us on 01278 751904 and a member of our team will advise you.

Refunds will be processed within 10 working days of receiving the item. The refund will be made via your original method of payment. When returning items on which you have received a discount/special offer the discount/offer will no longer apply and will be deducted from the original price.
At The Country House Gift Company we do our best to ensure that our goods are packaged sufficiently, but we do rely on third party companies to deliver your order to you and breakages unfortunately can happen. If you receive a damaged item, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. Please contact us immediately (Within 4 working days) at email@example.com or phone us on 01278 751904. To help us please quote your order number, a description of the fault, and please include a photo of the damaged item. We will arrange for your item to be collected and a replacement delivered immediately, subject to availability.
